Science is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by an explosion of data.   The result has been the emergence of a new paradigm of scientific discovery that now stands alongside the three traditional pillars of experimentation, theory and computational simulation.  This new Fourth Paradigm is based on our ability to discover and learn concepts based on the analysis of massive amounts of data.

This site will provide information and tutorials about the role scalable cloud computing and high performance computing (HPC) plays in scientific data analysis.  We will also provide information about new software technology and scalable algorithms for scientific discovery.
